Find FREE illustrations to reinforce your message

In any digital project (a website, PowerPoint presentation, a mobile application, …) I’m always searching to have nice and relevant visuals. Great illustrations help to organise and convey a message to the user. The best visuals are those which fit your message (ex. show a group of people working together when you write about the collaboration). Therefore, I’m always searching for libraries with free illustrations to find the perfect one to reinforce my messages. Please find below my findings.

Stories let you search through many illustrations from different categories. All illustrations are free for personal and commercial purpose with attribution. What is interesting is that you can animate these icons.

Blush is a library of free images from artists around the world. It allows you to use high-quality PNG images for personal and commercial purposes—worry-free.

Open Peeps is a hand-drawn characters illustration library. Free for commercial and personal use.

Gumroad.com propose images but only some of them are free. Below you will find a link to filter on free images

Giphy is one of the most popular platforms for free animated GIFs (which are licence free). Sometimes there is nothing stronger than animated GIFs to explain your message rapidly.
